I can drive for months with just one 7-gallon tank of gas. So, I’m saving an additional $100 per month by not buying as much gas. I charge up at home using a standard wall plug in my garage. I schedule it to charge at the lowest rates from 9 p.m. until the next morning, and it takes about 10 kilowatt-hours of electricity. Then it's fully charged by the time I’m ready to drive to work the next day.
