My experience owning an EV has been great! So good, I replaced my first EV with a newer 2017 BMW i3 with Range Extender.

The car has been very reliable, needing just periodic maintenance once a year, and has met my expectations even on long trips (Los Angeles area to Phoenix, Las Vegas and Ensenada, to name a few). The ease of charging at home, as well as the low electricity rate, makes the cost of ownership way better than your typical internal combustion engine alternative.

Overall, I have driven over 75,000 miles in my EVs—and 95% of them have been pure electric. My current lease expires next year, and guess what? I'm already convinced it’s going to be an EV.
