Eligible Increased Rebate recipients who apply on or after August 15, 2023, will receive a $2,000 CVRP EV Charge Card to use at public electric vehicle charging stations. The EV Charge Card is provided in addition to the Increased Rebate. The EV Charge Card is restricted to use at public EV charging stations and will not work for other purchases.

The Charge Card will be provided to purchasers/lessors of a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) or a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV’s) are not eligible to receive a Charge Card.

The Charge Card will be mailed separately from your rebate check. The Charge Card will be sent in an envelope that lists CVRP's logo and a Birmingham, Alabama return address. Instructions for card activation will be included in the envelope. Questions regarding your EV Charge Card can be directed to the third party provider, Dash, at 1-833-848-5768.
