For Tesla vehicles the date of first registration with the California DMV will be considered the date of purchase or lease. Applicants who submitted an application post-purchase must have taken delivery of their vehicle prior to submitting an application.

Applications received prior to the date of purchase/lease will be cancelled and will no longer be able to reapply due to depleted funding. Extensions will not be granted.
