I drive my Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) daily to run errands, visit friends and family, or just take a drive in the country. It is a very comfortable vehicle and a pleasure to drive. I get a kick out of the fact that I may have an estimated range of 120 miles when I leave my garage at 1,800 foot elevation and head up-country to visit friends about 45 minutes away at 3,500 foot elevation. I have less than 65 miles range left, but when I turn around and head back downhill, when I arrive back in my garage I have 118 miles in range available for another trip without recharge. The fact that my BEV regenerates going downhill is fantastic.
I feel good about going electric. It is the right choice for me and my lifestyle.
